Where exactly is Laguna, and what is around it?
Laguna is the resort area behind Bang Tao beach on the north-west coast — a cluster of hotels, lagoons and an 18-hole golf course, with Boat Avenue and Porto de Phuket just outside it for shops, markets and restaurants.
It is one of the easiest parts of the island to stay in without a car.
Do your apartments near Laguna have a pool and a gym?

Are the apartments close to the golf?
Yes — the buildings here sit within easy reach of Laguna Golf Phuket, the 18-hole course inside the complex. It is one of the filters on this page if you want to check before booking.
Can you walk to the beach?
From a few of them, yes; from most, it is a short ride to Bang Tao or Layan rather than a walk.
Laguna sits behind the beach rather than on it, which is the trade for having the golf, the shops and the restaurants on your doorstep. Each listing shows exactly where it sits.
How far is Laguna from the airport?
About 20 km, roughly 25 to 30 minutes by road. It is the shortest airport transfer of any area we cover, which is worth real money at the end of a long flight.
Is there a washing machine in the apartment?
Most of them have one in the unit and the listing states it — unusually high for an apartment area, and useful for a longer stay.

What is there to do around Boat Avenue and Porto de Phuket?
Between them they cover most of daily life — a supermarket, a weekly market, cafes and a wide spread of restaurants, all a few minutes from the apartments.
Laguna’s own restaurants and spas are open to non-residents, and the lagoons are crossed by shuttle boat.
Is Laguna good for families?
It is one of the easiest areas on the island with children. Very little traffic inside the complex, a gently shelving beach a few minutes away, a short airport transfer, and everything you need for a supermarket run close by.
Can you manage without a car?
More easily than almost anywhere else on the island. Boat Avenue, Porto de Phuket, the golf and the beach are all close, and Grab works reliably here.
You would want transport for Patong, Phuket Town or the piers.
